A Delicious Brioche

Take a break from your holiday shopping and join me for a little slice of something delicious! The fabulous Knittimo has once again created a magical creation out of Shibui fiber.

This time she's turned her discerning eye and impeccable taste toward the new colorways of Baby Alpaca, combining Abyss and Camel into a wonderful study in texture and geometry. Be sure and visit her post on ravelry; she's made a few changes to the pattern Zandloper, from Nancy Marchant's wonderful book on Brioche knitting.

Our new color palette in the Baby Alpaca serves up some scrumptious color combinations; I think a feminine version in Glacier and Ivory would be ethereal, or go for a tonal serving of Artichoke and Green Tea. Yum! And, at 255 yards per skein, you'll have leftovers from a single skein of each color.

Thanks again so much to Sachiko for sharing her beautiful work with us; and yes, we agree, her father will love his scarf!
