Road Rage, in a good way....

Now that the TNNA fiber dust has settled, I'd like to share a pattern that generated a bit of a buzz at the show; actually, the buzz began back in January, at the Long Beach TNNA event. I had on a little piece of Koigu, in my all time favorite colorway, that I had knit up while waiting for, well, all of the things that you wait for in your car. Kids, delayed practices, forgotten pick up times, flagmen, slow gas fillups...you name it; I am a much more patient driver/waiter if I have something yarnish in my hands.

While thanking Rhichard, the master dyer at Koigu, for this particularly lovely batch of color number 342, I met the wonderful women from Article Pract, who fingered my scarf and asked for a pattern. I explained its inception, and they countered with, "and you must name it Road Rage". I sometimes do as I am told, when it's the right thing to do.

Anyway, Linen Stitch is a wonderful fit for Staccato, and I think the simple shape of this makes it a flexible little accessory. It looks great with a tee-shirt, or tucked inside a jean jacket; perfect for my less than perfect lifestyle. The percentage of silk in Staccato also makes it pretty yummy to wear.

Three skeins of Staccato fits nicely in your glove compartment, and will make you much happier behind the wheel when traffic...or life....slows you down!
