Maggi is a great and quick little knit! This vintage-inspired headscarf is perfect for keeping hair out of faces and for adding a touch of color to any outfit. And, this chic accessory coordinates perfectly with the Lexi vest from Shibui Toddler, without being too matchy-matchy.

The techniques for Maggi are really quite simple. The band is made with an i-cord edge that can ultimately be made to any length, allowing for a customized fit, and the side edging is a simple reverse stockinette edge, giving the look of an applied i-cord without any of the added difficulty. I plan on churning out a few of these in many colors to give out as favors at my daughter's next birthday!

The fabulous washability and beautiful twist of Shibui Sock make this accessory as practical as it is fashionable. The biggest challenge is trying to decide which colorway to make first....and making sure it doesn't get left on the playground!
