Our second-to-last Shibui Heichi preview post! The eighth pattern from our newly released booklet, Ripple, is a fully-reversible shawl knit in a deliciously tactile stitch pattern.
Knit in a traditional knit-and-purl pattern on larger needles, the effect of the loose stitches in pattern creates a crepe-like fabric that makes for dramatic draping. Shown in Canal, I think this striking wrap would look excellent (read: spectacular!) in one of the brighter Heichi colors, like Bud or Solar, for a rich summer wrap you wouldn't want to take off.
For more information on Ripple, be sure to fave it on ravelry, or read more about Shibui Heichi on our website. And don't miss the last Shibui Heichi preview post this Thursday, plus maybe a TNNA round-up, with Lindsay!
